I approached Jodie about a very specific issue and we met for a free consultation and discussion. This immediately told me how professional Jodie is. It’s important for her to understand as much as possible about her clients before she agrees to support them and to know that it will be possible to work with them. Following this meeting and an agreement to work together, Jodie asked me to complete some questionnaires designed to give her further insight into her clients. It’s vital to take time and think carefully about your responses to these questions as it can really help Jodie to get a handle on your needs. Jodie’s approach is entirely holistic and is based primarily around your human design profile and may include hypnotherapy, coaching, complimentary therapy or a referral for energy work to remove any blockages that prevent progress. I began with hypnotherapy, which helped me to regain my sense of love and direction and begin to honour myself and care for myself. I progressed to energy work to remove blockages that were preventing me from making changes to my life. Jodie also used massage and acupuncture to help me feel fitter and more energetic. In our later phase, Jodie was able to help me with a nutrition plan that optimised my energy levels through not just what, but when and where to eat.

Jodie is highly competent and knowledgeable, but also compassionate and understanding. However, she will not let you shy away from what you need to do to achieve what you set out to accomplish. This is very important. This is not about making you feel better about yourself (although this is a by-product) it is about manifesting very real improvement in your mind, body and energy. I have, over many years, spent a lot of time and money on various forms of therapy that have made me feel more relaxed, less anxious or more optimistic for short periods of time. However, the holistic approach that Jodie offers alongside the energy work are more effective and pertinent than anything that I have done before.

In short, if you want to achieve a real and lasting impact in your life, have that conversation with Jodie, define your goals and make it happen. There are no limits to what you can do, you just have to imagine it…

I was always sceptical to try hypnotherapy as a way of addressing my feelings of intense anxiety. I always thought “Oh it won’t work on me”, and to be honest it probably wouldn’t have done until I met Jodie. I came to her when I was at breaking point and honestly ready to try anything to help myself out of the pit I was in. I decided that since it has worked for so many people, it’s worth a try myself. I think with hypno you need to have a trusty rapport with your therapist in order to trust them to allow your guard down and be the most susceptible to the treatment that you can be. I instantly knew Jodie would be the right person to start this new journey with and I am so glad I met her. We shared 10 powerful sessions together that helped me to reframe my mental construct of anxiety and understand what is happening from other perspectives. The weight off my shoulders has been life changing. I am so grateful to her for the knowledge and support she has passed onto me, I now feel much more confident that I can live my life to the fullest without the unnecessary fears that I harboured before.

I was at a point in my life where I wasn’t particularly satisfied with the ways things where and I wanted to make a change, but didn’t have much motivation to do it.

I got in touch with Jodie and she told me about the various courses she offered.

I thought all I wanted was a personal trainer for the gym, but the wellness package caught my interest. I’m very glad that I decided on that package.

I learnt about the importance of sleep, good nutrition, stress management and getting my self esteem back.

Jodie also gave me good advice on dealing with my obsessive and intrusive thoughts, which where hampering me for years.

I was struggling with anxiety to the point where I felt it was out of control – Jodie offered me six sessions of Hypnotherapy as a way to relax my body and calm my mind. Jodie has a great little treatment room whereby our sessions took place, with a comfy couch and I always felt safe in this space, which was important for me. Jodie always led the sessions-using imagery to try to focus my attention and reduce my thinking. Jodie also used psychoeducation as a way of helping me to understand my anxiety and also came up with coping strategies to help manage my anxiety better. Jodie always left time at the end of our sessions to allow me time and space to reflect. I never felt judged or rushed and always felt listened too. I certainly felt much more relaxed after these sessions and my anxiety has definitely eased since seeing Jodie.

Hypnotherapy with Jodie is a wonderful experience. I booked with Jodie to assist with relaxation and stress management. I had never undertaken hypnotherapy before and was unsure what to expect but went with an open mind. 

Jodie explained how the process works and gave good insight as to how the brain processes stress and anxiety and how this processing can result in a physical response; such as pain, insomnia and panic attacks.

The actual process of hypnotherapy doesn’t involve swinging pocket watches or clicking fingers and the word “sleep”! It is more of a guided meditation with emphasis on the area of difficulty for which one is seeking assistance.

Jodie provides a relaxing and tranquil environment, which enables the participant to truly immerse themselves in the experience.

From a personal perspective, by the end of the first session, I felt more relaxed than I had in a long time and slept for 10.5 hours that night – a good 4-5 hours more than I would “normally”.

I would recommend hypnotherapy treatment from Jodie for anyone who feels it may help with their situation.

I would thoroughly recommend hypnotherapy treatment with Jodie.

I was sceptical at first, but Jodie reassured me that this was what I needed to start relaxing and quieten the thoughts in my mind, she was correct!

The sessions are conducted in a calm and relaxed manner, yet are still conducted with the same high level of professionalism and integrity you would expect from any other mental health therapy treatments. 

I felt refreshed and relaxed after each session and in the long run my lack of sleep has become a thing of the past!

I’ve been training with Jodie as my PT for a while now. What a lot of people don’t know, is that I suffer with anxiety, which, last year, hit me pretty hard – I was unable to go to work gym or just function properly at all. 

Jodie asked me to come in and see her, which was a mountain to climb just to get outside. 

First teaching me breathing techniques to help me. 

Then doing hypnotherapy, which I was a bit sceptical about to start with, but, after having a few sessions with Jodie and her absolute fountain of knowledge on this subject, it’s been a great come back. Gym, work, life have all improved immensely. I would recommend any one with issues like I had to try this with Jodie in a safe, clean and friendly environment with a lady of vast knowledge on the subject and really cares. I can’t recommend Jodie enough.

I started training with Impact Fitness 2 years ago after years of trying (and failing) to lose weight. I would set myself massive exercise goals and then when I couldn’t achieve them instantly I’d be disheartened and give up. I’d also set a strict diet plan and then get bored after a couple of days so wouldn’t continue. Training with Jodie has given me the structure and accountability to be consistent with my training. Lifting weights makes me feel strong both physically and mentally and Jodie makes each session varied and fun! My nutrition plan is full of variety and allows me to be flexible when I need to be which again helps with consistency.

With Jodie’s guidance and support I went from being barely able to run 5k, to this year running the London Marathon. Without Jodie I’d had given up after the first week after probably trying to run 20 miles in one go! Impact Fitness has helped to change my life – I am much more healthier and happier than ever!
